Description of Tool:

Wallwisher is an online notice board maker. Not only can it be used for free writes and quick answer questions, its easy and quick for all. The site is pretty much a white board where all students and teachers can post on the wall. The responses can either be anonymous or have names attached to them. The plus of being anonymous is that people tend to open up more and will feel more comfortable about controversial materials.







How does tool apply to your curricular area?

From the perspective of Political Science the topic of the three branches of government as determined by the U.S. Constitution is a lesson that ought to generate feedback from students on the understanding of the breakdown of the government. Wallwisher is beneficial for teachers and students as it allows the teacher to see what the students are taking from the lecture and how they agree/disagree on certain aspects of government and whether or not the students are understanding the subject matter. Wallwisher also allows students to read their classmates' opinions and their views on the structure of government.

Wallwisher fits directly with Digital Blooms, especially under creating, understanding, and evaluating. Not only can you ask students quick questions to where they will submit there answers here, its also possible to to get a better understanding of whether or not the students are comprehending the material.
